29th. Sunday Had a roasted pig for dinner; my appetite is very good.

30th. Went with my Father to see for ripe Papaws.

31st. Saw the new Moon, which is not convex as it appears in England, but top and bottom.

lst. June Went out in a canoe and took a Pigeons nest with young.

3rd. Went in a DoryThe dory is a small, shallow-draft boat, about 16 to 23 feet long. It is usually a lightweight boat with high sides, a flat bottom and sharp bows. , sketching with my Father.
